    Robert Gainer, you wrote:
"The NavL archive is still down. How does this work and who would be the one
to ask about it. Is this something that Dan has any control over or is this
    service provided by someone else?"
Dan replied to the list that he has nothing to do with it. I couldn't find
any sign of a contact point on i-DEADLINK-com. Who are they anyway?? Personally, I
think it's time to set up an alternate archive. The archive at i-DEADLINK-com has
missed many messages over the years --I would say a couple a month-- and there
are several longer gaps, though nothing as long as the present one. I know
that at least one list member has maintained a near-perfect archive of past
    messages for his own use.
