With respect to the message written by Trevor J. Kenchington on 10/16/03 0252 CDT that stated in part: > referring us to Section 8 of Annex I > Regarding the conversation on navigation lights.......An interesting note follows the table in subsection b: "The maximum luminous intensity of navigation lights should be limited to avoid undue glare. This shall not be achieved by a variable control of the luminous intensity." Assuming this to mean that variable resistor's are not to be used to increase/decrease intensity, has anyone ever seen the application of a dual-filament bulb, such as those used in automobile brake lights, used for navigation lights? The ability to momentarily increase the intensity of nav-light's would be useful in some cases. Fred Leedy
