A ship is in position Lat 15 deg 14.0N and Longitude 145 deg 40E. The sky was partly cloudy and an ex-meridian sight of the sun was taken at local zone time 12h 08m 46s (ZD -10). Hs (lower limb) was 85 deg 22.0, IE was 1.0 off the arc, height of eye was 106 ft, temperature was 90 deg F, and the barometer read 1010 mb. Calculate Latitude by ex-meridian. Challenge: reduce the sight as a regular sunline and plot both lines and see what, if any, difference there is. If you choose to post, please let us know how you at your a and C values for the correction.
