Most aernautical plotters come with both nautical and statute mile scales for "sectional" charts, scale 500,000:1, and "WAC (world aernautical charts)" scale 1,000,000:1. Some have sectional on one side, showing both statute and nautical miles, with WAC on the other side with both scales. Some put all that nautical scales on one side and the statute on the other side.Some come with just the nautical miles scale and I have never seen a plotter with just stature mile scales but they may exist.
