Hi Thanks for the answers, I guess I didn't explain my question well enough. Both Dan's answer and CH.10 of astro about the "Divided Navigational Triangle" are close to what I am looking for, but I'm not a mathematician. What I'm looking for is to generate the values in the NOA sight reduction tables; A,B,Z1,H,PZ2, and the values from the aux. tables. As an example the Agetons's compact table (HO211) "A" values can be calculated using A = log( csc( angle ) ) * 100000. I'm looking for the equivalent formulas of the NAO sight reduction tables.
