Unfortunately the latest version od the app does not work properly. I cannot find any way to set the date, time and position. The screen for that has disappeared.There is no about screen so I cannot tell yo the version.. Also the app crashed.
You mentioned using the latest version of Play Store. Unfortunately I cannot find Play Store in the Play Store (-;
As an aside the sky is clear so starting from about 2 or 3 local time I will make a serious attempt to see venus. I know that venus will on the meridian at about 0300 UT at an altitude of about 24°.
Yet another comment - daylight saving ends tonight so tomorrow I must change my mental calculation of UT to local time. It will be easier - am becomes pm and vice versa.
