Why is the "true" prime merideian any more true the the "real" prime meriderian? In the past the zero point was whereever you made it. If the UK passed a law that the line at Greenwitch is zero than it would be. Why cannot the GPS be adjusted 100 m to aline with Greenwitch
How would the local gravity, geiod, et-all change if everything was shifted to make Greenwitch zero?
