Can't see the standing waves on the leeward side (to port), let alone the standing waves on the starboard side, but with what I can see would hazard and educated guess that she is making something close to hull speed on the wind-- perhaps between 7.9 and 8.5 Kat. Nice ride. Your grin (and black clothing) in other pictures indicates it is indeed you--and loving it. Do you have warm clothing for Chile, or just a hip flask of Vodka ;-) Bill
