Alex, I don?t have the archive. I only gave web space on my server to Dan to use as the home page for Nav-l. That is to say Alex, a web page, www.offsoundings.info/navl.htm with some files of interest, instructions for joining the list and links to other pages dealing with navigation. The silicone sea problems are also there. The archive of the list is housed elsewhere, www.i-DEADLINK-com/lists/navigation and I think some people have a copy of it on there own machines. I think you are correct and a copy of the archive that is complete up to the date at which the Nav-l list dies should be placed on the new site for obvious reasons. Dan gathered up some worthwhile files and you might want to visit the page before it is removed. Of course you might have gathered up this information already but I found things that were new to me and I have made copies for myself. There is currently no password needed to get to any of the files on the Nav-l home page and I will not change that. The password I offered to Frank is the administrator?s password for FTP and other housekeeping chores on a web site. I offered that to him so that if he wanted to copy the silicone sea or other files he could do it in bulk using FTP instead of a single file at a time. All the best, Robert Gainer
