    Hello Greg,

Long time no write ... :-)

Thanks again for your superb Lunar picture.

With TT-UT = +67.9 s, and with Planet phase correction (albeit negligible since for Mars it is well below 0"1 for Jupiter), here are my results :

Under the assumption that both your position and recorded UT are correct you "should" have observed 1°36'700 (far limb) while you recorded a value of 1°36'4, hence a difference of 0'300. If I enter 1°36'700 into Frank's Computer, I am getting the following grade **** Error in Lunar - 0'1 , Error in Longitude 0°01'5 **** So own results agree to within 3"0 with Frank's ones here.

Under the assumption that both your position and recorded Sextant Distance are correct, then UT "should have been" 12h58m11,7s , hence a difference of -1m18.3 seconds of time. If I enter 12h58m11.7s with 1°36'4 (Far Limb) into Frank's Computer, I am getting the following grade **** Error in Lunar - 0'1 , Error in Longitude 0°01'6 **** So own results agree to within 3"2 with Frank's ones here.

Thanks again for sharing your observations with our NavList Community

    Best Lunarian Regards

    Kermit
