    I forgot to add that once you have set the 2102-D to indicate the time 
    of sunset or twilight that the index on the blue scale will be pointing 
    at the LHA Aries at that time. You can use this to go to H.O. 249 volume 
    1 to choose the stars to shoot. You can also start the precomputation of 
    Hc and Az for these selected stars but you will still have to refer to 
    the almanac to determine where to plot the AP. Note, this turns the 
    usual process upside down. Normally you refer to the almanac for the 
    time of the sight, determine GHA Aries, choose an assumed longitude and 
    then figure out the LHA Aries to set the 2102-D.
    
    I mentioned before that the outside scale in purple that I placed on the 
    star base shows the Q correction for Polaris which is read against the 
    index on the blue scale so you have the Polaris correction automatically 
    for the time of sunset or twilight. This scale needs to be replotted 
    from time to time as the position of Polaris shifts.
