I hve used a mirror horizon for 3 years and 4,350 observations. You can purchase level vials of 10 seconds sensitivity for $50 each from Level Developements ing the UK. A base can be made to protect, adjust and prevent rolling and here is an example:

Witn 2 levels the leveling process takes less than 2 miutes and I have the expectation of my sights coming in at less than a mile.
