    Hi George and folks and thanks for reply! My www.Geocode.com position
    correlates with an aeronautical chart about 2nm SW of town of Castaic. Your
    statement" surface tension effects distorting liquid from being plane and
    level" is most plausible explanation for discrepancy. Chronometer error
    would have been logical choice for Longitude discrepancy however the Lunar
    LOP and Lunar distance results eliminate that. For now I will stick to poor
    artificial horizon liquid choice reason for error and in future use ONLY
    homogeneous liquids! Now if someone can come up with a commercial version of
    a liquidless artificial horizon ala Doug Royer's previously described item
    then we might have something! Thanks again for most enlightening feedback.
