The first complete trial of the Metric Kamal has been completed with good result under perfect conditions at the beach from a height of eye of 5 ft. A 22" dowel was used in place of a tape measure. This frees up a hand (see attached image). Intercepts from GPS for 9° to 1° were all under 8' while above 9° were over 10'. Not too bad for a CN tool that took less than 30 minutes to make.
