    Meridian Passage Table, Daily Pages
    From: Steve E. Bryant

In the almanac daily pages, bottom far tight-hand corner page, is the table for meridian passage and the equation of time.

I understand the concept of UT, LMT and Zone Time; in that, the UT of celestial events, at the zone meridian of all time zones, is the same time in that time zone as the Universal Time at Greenwich.

What are some useful bits of information that can be obtained by using that meridian passage table?  The table must make it easier to determine events.  How is the equation of time used with the meridian passage data?

I've read about the equation of time but still have trouble with it.

I'm hoping that by being able to actuall use the equation of time might help me to appreciate it.
