Yes, thanks. I copy & paste it from my article " Vector equation of the circle of equal altitude " without checking this. The equation is: sin H = cos B cos Dec cos ( GHA-L ) + sin B sin Dec -90 <= Dec <= +90 0 <= GHA <= 360 (W to E) 0 <= H <= 90 -90 <= B <= +90 0 <= L <= 360 (W to E) and LHA = GHA+L sin H = cos B cos Dec cos ( GHA+L ) + sin B sin Dec -180(W) <= L <= +180(E) -----Mensaje original----- De: NavList@fer3.com [mailto:NavList@fer3.com] En nombre de dw Enviado el: jueves, 25 de octubre de 2007 1:10 Para: NavList Asunto: [NavList 3551] Re: Marq St. Hilaire - Altitude intercept method Perhaps the equation you cite: sin H = cos B cos Dec cos ( GHA-L ) + sin B sin Dec Should be GHA+L, using the conventions you give. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ To post to this group, send email to NavList@fer3.com To , send email to NavList-@fer3.com -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
