    Re your comments, I'm in round numbers, 6' tall, my height of eye, distance above that which I'm standing on is about 5'-8". When using the AH, I stand as erect as possible, of course one is looking DOWN into/at the AH, which sits on the ground, that being reasonably level.

    Fabricating a "rafted mirror", such as you suggest/mention, others have also, could perhaps provide something of interest, though the questions/problems that George raised re such an arrangement might preclude it, or create major complications.
