    Kieran,I have a few questions about the procedure used by Mr. Gregory to
    find variation.
    1.In the example you posted what's the deal with takeing 1/2 the sum of PD,L
    and ALT?
    2.There is a 360 printed.What does this represent?
    3.Where did the 282* 35' azimuth angle come from?Or is it a Zn?
    4.Is the Alt noted corrected or only an hs?
    5.On the date stated the dec of the sun is a North dec.Why add the Lat as it
    is 18* 00' S when summing for PD,Lat and Alt?
    It appears these guys were comparing azimuth angles to find the variation.Is
    that correct?
