Gary,
a short message for now:
Mine is in the dangerous state of "almost finished", I can post a photo soon.
The tubes turned out to be nice and easy to handle and I also have a good impression of my simplified locking mechanism that can be made with simple hand tools .
I posted the drawings earlier. Only the window cutout in the outer tube has a wrong dimension in the drawing- it needs to be slightly longer. The adjusted drawing will be posted , too.
It may take some time though, I am pretty busy at the moment.

There are more tubes in stock, in case more Navlist readers like to start building...

Back in July last year several people were working on MHR1 or Bygrave reproductions. I am wondering how they worked out?
