    MH370 circle of position?

    The map halfway into this article:
    looks to me like it contains a circle of position.  It even includes the GP of a satellite, perhaps the Inmarsat satellite mentioned here:

    Quoting from the latter piece:

    > The “handshake” allows the satellite to work out how much tilt or arc was needed to be in range of the plane's signal. It therefore provides a scope or range for the aircraft, but it does not provide altitude, speed or location.

    This language is not precise enough to infer much, but one interpretation is that the aircraft system was reporting on the angle from the Inmarsat bird to the local horizon.
