    Lutz 252 Slide Rule for Navigation

    The Lutz 252 duplex 10" slide rule does a great job on many navigation problems. I very much like the scale arrangements  which makes for quick work on azimuth, amplitude, prime vertical, ex-meridian, and even sight reduction by Bygrave formula. The slides T1, T2. and S scales above the D scale are what gets it done when using the Bygrave method (see attached example). Precision is acceptable.
