In addition to Frank's suggestions, you might perhaps find this useful. I
am also crawling up the lunar distance curve, probably falling behind you
now. I have started organizing a lunar distance worksheet for hand
calculator reduction. It is based on Frank Reed's "Easy Lunars"
article. I keep my draft at:
(not
the same as completely manual pencil-and-paper, which I think is what you are
working on, but maybe it will help).
