          Although it has been quite a while since I looked in detail at Stark's Tables here is an extract from my notes that I made at the time that you may find useful

    "The constant is added since Q for the Moon is always used in conjunction with Q for the other body. There a corresponding value of +0.000123 has been included so that it is always positive and hence the two Q's can always just be added to produce the correct result."
