    Robin,

    plog(x) = log(1) - log(x)
    and log(1) = 0. Could it really be that there were distinct tables of plogs of this type?!

    Certainly not in that ^ form but it could be as plog(x)=log(3600) - log(x), since one hour is 3600 seconds. I'm sure I fell for your sarcasm. :)
