I only skimmed the "Lunars: altitude accuracy" discussion (I'd been away for a couple of weeks and had a lot of catching up to do), but I did note Frank's formulas, and that you and George examined them. I mentioned, in the post, having compared my results, using various distances and altitudes, with those predicted by the formulas.
At your suggestion, I'll read the discussion more carefully.
