You're making a HUGE step toward setting history straight.
I hope you will eventually write a book. You have a good grip on both the history and the practice of lunars, and know how to write clearly and interestingly. As a companion to Sobel's "Longitude," such a book might enjoy a reasonable amount of popularity.
