    The log book you posted has frequent records like
    this:
    Lat DR 39 28 N Lat Obs 39 32 N
    I was asking what "Lat DR" exactly means in this record:
    DR from the departure point or DR from the Lat Obs yesterday?
    
    Did he shift his DR every time when Latitude was taken?

    This applies to "other log books". What do you think DR Lat
