    Re: Lunar eclipse this Sunday!

I've been making a pest of myself shaming the science sites for publishing photos showing foreground objects against giant moon which only requires blowing up the photo- foreground AND Moon, or telephoto, leading to the impression that this Moon, eclipsed or not, will fill the sky. Moreover, the exaggerated statements about the difference in size (min to max is only 15%), and neglecting to mention that the Moon will appear pretty close to the same size on months either side of max. I resolved to take a dramatic photo of the mini-moon to show how easy it is to deceive.  Attached is a little graph of lunar distance and % illumination to spot where the Moon is full AND far or full AND near.
