    Joel,
    This statement is incorrect.
I never felt offended by anyone in this list.
And never said that I was offended.
And I don't understand why some other people on
this list sometimes are. On my opinion, all
correspondence in this list is quite polite:-)

In the case of Kriegsmarine sextant with a swastika,
you may re-read what I said. I said that I would never
have such a souvenir in MY HOME.
This was simply a statement about my taste:-)
Some other people hate objects with a Red Star on them.
I do not object Nazi memorabilia in museums, for example,
and in private collectiuons too. But not in MY home.
This you call "absurdity"? OK, everyone can have his own
notion of what is absurd and what is not.

    Same about your "nationalism" statement.
I only said "this CAN BE considered as an offense,"
not that I consider it as such:-)

And then tried to correct your (incorrect) statement about
    my motivations.

    Alex.
