    Seems better to me.  I think the meaning is clear.
    
    So for 24 hours, there should be about 24 moon diameters difference in
    distance - about 12 degrees - and 30 days brings it back to the original
    position.  Yup, the mental arithmetic works out.  Thank you.  :-)
