Fred and George, I'll do some more tinkering with what I've already written, based on George's comments. George, you can certainly do some tinkering as well. You'll be surprised at how easy it is to do. Someone has anonymously corrected the dates of the Norie references. I am surprised to see I had typed "1928" for "1828" and never spotted it. Oh! my eyes! Thank you, anonymous editor. I am watching your discussion with interest -- I'll look for statements from you that the new paragraphs are ready for inclusion. As for my request for sources for ONE statement in particular -- I meant this as an example. All statements should be supported by appropriate references. Just like in "Encyclopedia Brittanica". Or as in an article in a peer-reviewed journal.
