Fred Hebard proposes to indroduce a discussion about various methods of clearing a lunar distance, into that Wikipedia article. Although I didn't feel that it was strictly necessary, in reaching an understanding about the principle of a lunar distance observation, neither do I think it would do any harm. As far as I'm concerned, Fred, you are welcome to press on with it. It could indeed be really interesting.
