    Yes, I do.  Using the WGS 84 parameters,  my program converts a
    geographical longitude and latitude into a 3 dimensional vector in the
    ECEF system (Earth-Centered, Earth-Fixed Cartesian coordinate system
    which rotates with the earth). But why does it matter? Using the wrong
    spheroid would give a slightly wrong solution to any navigational
    problem but not impact the principle. You are not suggesting that your
    problem can only be solved on a non-spherical earth, are you?
