Richard,
I will add too that I failed to correct for temperature and pressure also. The temp was 80° F and pressure 30.00 inch. Table A4 colume K shows a correction of +1.5'. This would be added to 1° 5.3' to get a final Ho of 1° 6.8' to compare to an Hc 1°7.4' which works out to an intercept of 0.6' away.
