Thanks Greg for your "Low Altitude" Saturn and Mars Lunars

With TT-UT = +67.9 s, and with NO Planet phase correction (totally negligible since for Mars it is about 0"2 and for Saturn it is about 0"01), here are my results :

SATURN : From position and UT you "should" have observed 27°51'188 (far limb) while you recorded a value of 27°51'0 , hence a difference of 0'188. If I enter 27°51'188 into Frank's Computer, I am getting the following grade **** Error in Lunar 0'0 , Error in Longitude 0°00'9 **** So own results agree to within 1"8 with Frank's ones here.

MARS : From position and UT you "should have" observed 29°43'900 (far limb) while you recorded a value of 29°43'4 , hence a difference of 0'500. If I enter 29°43'900 into Frank's Computer, I am getting the following grade **** Error in Lunar 0'0 , Error in Longitude 0°00'8 **** So own results agree to within 1"6 with Frank's ones here.

Thanks again for sharing your observations with our NavList Community

    Best Lunarian Regards

    Kermit
