The attached 3x5 card shows a complete longhand haversine table reduction which includes the Bergman / Doniol haversine azmiuth formula formated to the card. Reductions take 5 minutes longer vs. using the Ix azimuth graph. This latest azimuth formula should be included with the altitude formula in the event that an azimuth graph is not available. Notice that the division step only needs to be done to two places for required precision.
