I have a small (6 meter) sail boat with a fractional rig.
I am about to fit nav lights in the following positions.
    - Allround white light at mast head
    - Bi-color light fitted to front of the mast just above the spinnaker halyard
exit box. This will be a little over 1 meter below the allround light.
    - Stern light at deck level.

I would use the bi-color and alround mast head lights when motoring.
The bi-color and stern lights when under sail.
The allround masthead light when at anchor.

I can't see anything in colregs about the hight of side lights or bi-color
light so I assume this will satisfy all the requirements.
    What do you think.
