Probably wouldn't hurt if I'd do a bit of checking before shooting my mouth off. But I doubt it would be as much fun. Now I've found plates in old books that show numbers on the arc at 5° intervals. I believe your quadrant is divided in the normal way. Some read to 1', some to 30".
I still think the idea of 60° being visible in the reading part of the index window is worth considering, given what Ken Muldrew has discovered.
