    I must say I agree with you enthusiastically, except perhaps for the
    cost of detailed maps over the entire course of the Missouri River.
    But those would be a delight were the cost not of huge concern.
    
    A typical topographic map has great detail, much more than can be
    depicted on one computer screen.  Being able to look around all that
    real estate at one time cannot be matched by any other medium, in my
    opinion.
