    No. I am using the variation as  shown on the Pilot Chart Of The
    Southern Ocean, (NYPUB105), Second Edition 1995. There is variation
    listed up to 40d for parts of the Southern Ocean.
    BUT the note below 6) should read *DEV 3d*.
