    Huygen's pendulum (theoretical) formula T=Sq.rt of L/g, where L-is lenth of 
    the pendulum  and g-is the gravitational constant.  T-is the period of 
    oscillation. Of course, it is for the ideal pendulum, but I think George's 
    option 2 is right.  Anyway, the best test is to test ;>
