A good time was had by all.
I did my talk regarding leap seconds and celestial navigation. Oh, and I thanked the "members of NavList" in the official paper, which will be published eventually. I also did a dinner talk on lunars and convinced six or seven of the attendees to shoot some lunars themselves.
There were many experts in time-keeping and positional astronomy including Ken Seidelmann (I got him to autograph my copy of the "Explanatory Supplement"), George Kaplan, Dennis McCarthy, and others. I was also surprised to see a familiar face as we sat down for the first day: Neil Degrasse Tyson (a familiar face from tv --if you don't know him, visit Wikipedia). He interviewed me regarding leap seconds for his radio show, though I doubt it will get aired.
Very stimulating and quite interesting to see the range of approaches and ideas, both good and bad.
