    Dear Lars,

    Thank you very much again! Your formula works.

    I checked the formula with those values of t and DecSun I used previously - nice correspondence. Casio fx-85ESPlus lets me to enter the whole formula - even as complicated as this one.

    Now for the formula itself - the most misterious part is the introduction of cos(t)/tan(Dec) as tan(θ). The rest was easy. I'd like to have an insight on why it is particularly tan() but not, say, cotan() of sin()?
