The Air Almanac has a seperate atmosphere refraction table, along with a dip of the sea horizon table and dome refraction table.

Has anyone compared the values in the dome refraction table w/ refraction of sights taken through the cockpit windshield of a light aircraft?

I understand there are a few DC 3s still around w/ astrodomes. B 17s and B 24s are few and far between.
