And there were many other comments on the list,
on "whether it is new or not" and "whether Frank explained it
clearly enough", I am not mentioning personal comments on
    the characters of various persons.

However, the most interesting question (on my point of view)
    is not discussed.
I mean DOES THIS METHOD REALLY WORK IN PRACTICE ??
(There is no doubt that it is theoretically sound).

And what does it mean that is works.
Can you determine your position with this method
    and ordinary sextant
    a) to within 1/2 of degree?
    b) to within 20 minutes or 1/4 of a degree?
(Similar benchmarks were used in the conditions for the
    20,000 prize).

I mean the method has to be tested.
I have doubts about both a) and b), especially strong
    doubts about b).
But my Lunar's results are poor, either because of the
poor sight or for some other reasons, I don't know.

So I propose that those list participants who are
good in taking the Lunars, test the method and report
    their results in detail.

I am ready to supply all necessary formulas and algorithms
    if needed.

    Alex.
