Re: Lat/Lon by "Noon Sun" & The Noon Fix PROVE IT

You're being too kind, in that I had one good example and one horrible
    one. The average isn't good.
But, I offered to Dave that I needed to go over my transcription of
George's text data into my spreadsheet, since his results for the second
data set were good. I've done that now, and got quite a surprise. I
translated the times for the first set, since they were not in a format
that could be used directly. Then, I assumed that all succeeding sets
would be the same. But the second was quite different! The first set went
from 12:50 to 12:59, with times at one minute intervals thereafter. The
second set went 12:50 to 13:10, followed by times at one minute
intervals. So, I need to use the correct times. Oh, the folly of
I just re-did the second set of data with the above times, and the
Longitude comes out 1049.3'W, much closer. Whew!

The difference is clear. Click now for a great laminating machine!
