Doug and George, you're both right. We might be newbies, but we're not just off the turnip truck either. Both of your insights make great sense to us -- on the one hand using a noon sun sight and estimate of LAN to get a practical estimate of longitude in the open ocean, and on the other hand understanding the finer detail regarding potential inaccuracies. It's what CN is all about. Thanks to both, and keep all that good stuff coming from both directions. We'll sort it all out.
