    I keep making errors, in this case not an important one.

    Read this definition I found this definition on Wolfram MathWorld:

    A triangular pyramid is a pyramid having a triangular base.
    The tetrahedron is a triangular pyramid having congruent
    equilateral triangles for each of its faces.

    So, Breed constructs in general a triangular pyramid, not a tetrahedron

    I find Mr. Breed's method fascinating. I did indeed draw a copy of the diagram, cut it out and folded it into a perfect little tetrahedron. Neat. Thank you for posting this. If I ever run across a copy of that book, I'm buying it.
