Sodium street lights radiate over a fairly narrow bandwidth, so it is possible to mitigate their effects with a filter. This is not possible with LED light, so you are holed below the waterline on that count, I am afraid.

A while ago I asked about light pollution caused by LED street lights because I was considering buying a re-onditioned A12. So far I have not purchased an A12.

Early this afternoon I heard some noise outside. When I went to have a look I discovered that LED street lights have arrived in my neighbourhood. Tonight if the 8/8th cloud cover clears I  will go outside and see if the light pollution has increased.
