No, no electric averager on these sextants. Still the same mechanical ones as on old bubble type. You really only need 3 Volts if you do not need the lighting in the gimbaled mount (28 V). Sextant partnumbers are: A28450-00-002 (Kollsman System-Technik GmbH, Muenchen, Germany) L28450 00 001 (Kollsman Instruments Ltd, The Airport Southampton UK) It is impossible to tell for me where these sextants differ.
